Comfort Fit Wedding Bands

What exactly are comfort fit wedding bands?

The inside of a comfort fit band has a slightly rounded shape that forms more comfortably around the ring finger and does not pinch like a regular, flat band.

Comfort fit helps you quickly become accustomed to wearing a ring, even if you’ve never worn one before.

We especially recommend comfort fit bands for men who are not accustomed to wearing rings. Once  you get used to wearing a comfort fit ring, it’s hard to tell that a ring is even on your finger!

Sizing a Comfort Fit Ring

It is important to get measured professionally for a comfort fit band. Often, you can actually go down a 1/4 or 1/2 size when wearing a comfort fit band. So if you are normally a size 10 in a flat band, a size 9 1/2 or 9 3/4 may actually fit better.

However, this is not always the case and the most accurate way to obtain your ring size is to get professionally measured by 1 or more jewelers and by letting them know you will be wearing a comfort fit ring.

When available, try on an actual band, rather than using a ring sizer.

If you cannot for some reason make it to a local jeweler for sizing or want to have a general idea of your ring size before heading to the jewelers, a good place to start is our free ring sizer.

Who Invented Comfort Fit Bands?

While the majority of Apples of Gold Jewelry wedding bands are made in the comfort fit style, it is interesting to note that Benchmark Rings originally invented the comfort fit design, which later became the ultimate wedding ring standard among high quality jewelers and consumers alike.

Apples of Gold is an authorized Benchmark Wedding Band Dealer.
