We are excited to announce the addition of a stunning new jewelry collection: Starhaven Jewelry. Founded in 2005 by Liz Donahue, Starhaven Jewelry is characterized by intricately designed sterling silver pieces with a vintage sensibility. Each piece in the Starhaven Jewelry line includes exquisite craftsmanship and abundant details that make the jewelry so special.

In creating Starhaven, Donahue’s goal was to create ‘modern day treasures of art’ that women can wear with just about anything. Versatility is another hallmark of the collection. Though crafted from sterling silver, each Starhaven jewelry piece has a high-end appeal that would pair just as well with cocktail dresses as they do with jeans and a shirt. This appeal has helped launch Starhaven as a popular line for women who appreciate the beauty of good design. From the line’s delicate dangle earrings to chunkier sterling silver bracelets and substantial cross necklaces, the line enjoys a distinctly consistent theme that sets it apart from other jewelry lines.

Starhaven Sterling Silver Clover Earrings

The sterling silver clover earrings (at top) merge a classic jewelry shape with Starhaven’s vintage swirling designs. The result is an attractive, versatile pair of dangle earrings that can be worn with just about anything.

Starhaven Sterling Silver Cross Charm Bracelet

The Starhaven cross charm bracelet (at right) is designed with unique etched sterling silver links that can be used to adjust the length of the bracelet. Dangling from the center of the chains is an intricately designed sterling silver cross that bears the characteristic Starhaven design.

Starhaven Sterling Silver Filigree Cuff Bracelet

Similar to the Starhaven’s sterling silver cuff (at left) that was a Jeweler’s Choice Award finalist this year, the filigree cuff bracelet is a signature Starhaven accessory. As with all pieces bearing her signature design, the cuff bracelet features a center design symbolizing strength with symmetrical left and right side designs that symbolize energy and balance.

Vintage Rose Morganite Ring

Few people are aware of the lovely pink gemstone known as Morganite, but after seeing it they are likely to become fanatics. Morganite was first discovered in the early 20th century in California. It is actually a variety of the mineral beryl, which is also responsible for creating emeralds and aquamarine; the name “morganite” refers to the pink variety of beryl. For this reason, morganite is also called pink emerald, pink beryl and rose emerald due to its hue that ranges from a kiss of pale pink to a rich rose color.

When morganite was first discovered, it sparked a craze among women who fell in love with its gorgeous pink color. The gemstone was usually set in intricate white gold, as was the style at the turn of the 20th century.  Pairing the girly pink morganite stone with a dainty, elaborate white gold setting creates a beautifully feminine piece of jewelry. It’s a look that hopeless romantics and vintage lovers alike can appreciate, which is why we have recreated the effect with our antique style morganite ring.

Set in solid 14K white gold, the oval-shaped morganite stone on our ring measures 10 mm x 8 mm.  The band itself is carved with intricate flowers and filigree reminiscent of the early 20th century jewelry styles that inspired the ring. To achieve an authentic vintage look, the white gold is left untreated with rhodium for a soft, beautiful finish. This ring would make a lovely birthday present, bridal gift, or anniversary gift for the lady in your life who appreciates treasured vintage style jewelry.
