The Orthodox cross includes the shorter straight cross arms representing the two crucified thieves next to Jesus, one to whom Jesus says that he will be with Him forever in paradise and the other who spurned the Almighty and was denied access to heaven. The slanted arms at the bottom also represent God's scales of justice.
The cross portion of the pendant measures 1 5/16" tall x 7/16" wide. The overall height of the cross is 1 9/16" tall, inclusive of the hoop and bail. The pendant weighs approx. 2.26 grams of 14k solid white gold! This is a flat, solid cross pendant.
