It is important to know the gram weight of
your gold chain (the amount of gold in your chain).
Once you have the gram weight of your gold chain,
divide the price of the gold chain by the gram weight to obtain the price
per gram.
Example A: Your gold chain is priced at $625.00
and the gram weight is 27.0 grams. Divide $625 by 27 and you will get $23.15. This
means that you are paying $23.15 per gram.
Example B: A gold chain weighs 11.0
grams and is priced at $325.00. $325 divided by 11 = $29.55 per gram.
Compare this to our example above and you are
saving a significant amount by shopping at Store A vs. Store B.
