The Bible talks about not being ashamed of the gospel, about preaching the gospel, and being the light of Christ shining in the darkness.

Through our words, and our actions, others can see God working through us. We want to be humble in how we treat and interact with others, for Jesus said that the two greatest commandments are to love The Lord thy God with all thy heart, all thy soul, all thy strength and all thy mind, and to love thy neighbor as thyself (Matthew 22:34-40). 

But what if there was more that we could do, to represent our faith in Jesus, to express unto others our love for Christ, and our beliefs in The Word of God? I personally believe that we can wear our faith, to show others who we are and what we stand for.

We are born-again, bible believing Christians. A great representation of that can be through apparel by wearing a cross necklace, or a cross ring or bracelet, for example. Personally, I wear my cross every day. It says in Luke 9:23 that we are to pick up our cross and follow Jesus.”And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me” (Luke 9:23). 

What does this mean? It simply means that we are to completely trust and have faith in Jesus, and to follow and obey Him, and not the world. He is our Lord and our Savior, and we must do everything according to His Will and not our own. As such, we are to put aside what we want for ourselves, and to follow Jesus and do what it is that His purpose is for us. 

The symbol of the cross is so powerful because it represents the sacrifice that Jesus made for us, for all of us. He died for our sins at Calvary, so that if we believe in Him, we will not perish, but have eternal life with Him in Heaven (John 3:16). Be bold. Stand out. Let your faith shine through you. Wear your faith. Own it.
