14K GOLD 6MM ROPE CHAIN

Gold would have value if for no other reason than that it enables a citizen to fashion his financial escape from the state. — William F. Rickenbacker

The beautiful rope chain is appropriately named, as it looks like actual rope, but made it gold. Typically, rope chains are made of two strands of gold that have been twisted together (double helix). When the links have been flattened to achieve a faceted effect, then it is referred to as a diamond-cut rope chain.

The links of a diamond-cut rope chain aren’t twisted together like the regular rope chain, but instead carefully joined in a very delicate process, usually made by hand. Our 6mm rope chain in a 20 inch length has a weight of approximately 73 grams (2.347 troy ounces). Much of the world’s machine-made rope chains are made in Italy.

14K WHITE GOLD ROPE CHAIN (5MM)

The desire of gold is not for gold. It is for the means of freedom and benefit. ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Gold is like buying a foreign currency without having the problems of the country issuing the currency,” says financial planner Dermott Whelan, investment director at Informed Choice. “The price rise has been driven by a flight to quality or a flight to safety.”

In the volatile world of 2020, we need both a flight to quality and a flight to safety. And this one, from our White Gold Rope Chains collection, gives you both plus beauty as well!

14K TRI-COLOR GOLD ROPE CHAIN (5MM)

If you don’t trust gold, do you trust the logic of taking a beautiful pine tree, worth about $4,000-$5,000, cutting it up, turning it into pulp and then paper, putting some ink on it and then calling it one billion dollars? — Kenneth J. Gerbino

Investing in gold means putting your trust in something that is rare. The value of gold comes from the difficulty of coaxing it from the earth, convincing it to come out and shine with its own brilliance, the truth of its worth. Paper money just can’t come close to the intrinsic value of a rare commodity, especially when too much has been printed to hold the value it once had. But gold—gold! Not only is it beautiful, like our tri-color chain from our Tri-Color Rope Chains collection, but intrinsically valuable as well. If the supply of gold in the earth runs out, we can’t “print” more! Then it will be so valuable you can’t afford it anymore. Now is the time to invest in gold, and this yellow, white, and rose gold, diamond-cut rope chain is a wearable investment!
